I work at the intersection of capital markets, data and technology, building and modernising analytics platforms that support risk, investment and business decisions.
Over 10 years across equity risk, enterprise reporting, analytics platforms and transformation, now complemented by front-office Quantitative Investment Strategies experience.

From engineering foundations to transformation leadership.
My career began in platform automation and software delivery, where I developed the engineering discipline to understand how technology moves reliably from development into production.
In 2018, I moved from Mumbai to Budapest and began a new chapter at Morgan Stanley. There, my work evolved from deep KDB+/Q and equity risk analytics into delivery governance, stakeholder leadership, enterprise reporting, analytics platform strategy and broader transformation responsibilities.
A period of deliberate professional development followed, deepening my understanding of quantitative finance, artificial intelligence and leadership while giving me hands-on experience building independently outside a large institution.
Today, at Phi Partners, I am bringing that experience into a front-office Quantitative Investment Strategies environment, continuing to expand my understanding of how investment research, analytics and data platforms connect.
The thread across the journey is simple: build strong foundations, understand the problem deeply, broaden the perspective, and make technology create meaningful value.

My career has evolved across technology, capital markets, countries and increasingly broader responsibilities. Each chapter has added a different dimension: engineering discipline, market knowledge, enterprise perspective, adaptability, ownership and a stronger understanding of how technology creates value.
Senior KDB Engineer, Quantitative Investment Strategies
My current chapter is bringing my capital markets technology experience closer to front-office investment analytics.
At Phi Partners, I support a major global investment bank's Quantitative Investment Strategies environment at the intersection of front-office analytics, capital markets data platforms, quantitative research infrastructure and analytics modernisation.
Working across Equities and Cross-Asset initiatives is expanding my understanding of how quantitative research, analytics and data infrastructure connect, while giving me a new environment in which to build credibility, learn and contribute.

Following Morgan Stanley, I deliberately used this transition period to broaden the capabilities I wanted to bring into the next stage of my career.
I deepened my knowledge of quantitative finance, explored AI-enabled analytics and decision intelligence, invested in leadership development, and gained hands-on entrepreneurial experience outside a large institutional environment.
More importantly, the period strengthened capabilities that are difficult to capture through credentials alone: learning independently, navigating uncertainty, making decisions without perfect information and creating momentum without an established structure around me.
Focused learning across Quant Finance Bootcamp, Python for Quantitative Finance, Linear Algebra for Quantitative Finance, Derivatives, Risk Management and Quantitative Modelling.
Focused learning and practical exploration across AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, AI-enabled Analytics and Decision Intelligence.
Mentor, LeadWithAIAgents Hackathon, GenAI Works
Development across Leadership & Decision-Making, Strategic Thinking, Executive Communication, and Influence & Personal Leadership.
Built an independent venture outside financial services, gaining hands-on experience in ownership, product thinking, customer experience, commercial decisions and execution.

Morgan Stanley was where my career moved decisively into Capital Markets.
Across almost seven years, my scope evolved from hands-on equity risk analytics and KDB+/Q engineering into delivery governance, stakeholder leadership, enterprise reporting, analytics platform strategy and broader transformation responsibilities.
My responsibilities broadened across equity risk analytics, enterprise reporting and analytics platform modernisation supporting global capital markets stakeholders.
The work increasingly required connecting business priorities, risk requirements, technology dependencies, governance and adoption, shifting my perspective from solving individual engineering problems toward improving how analytics capabilities operate across the organisation.
Improved delivery productivity through modernisation of legacy analytics pipelines, dependency-driven workflows and stronger execution practices.
Expanded adoption through cross-functional collaboration and improvements to risk data and reporting capabilities.
Enabled KDB+ analytics consumption through Python/PyKX ecosystems, broadening access to risk and scenario data.
Enterprise perspective · Platform strategy · Cross-functional leadership · Transformation thinking
My scope expanded beyond engineering into delivery governance, stakeholder alignment and team execution.
Operating as a de facto Scrum Master and Delivery Governance Lead, I worked across Product, Risk, Finance and Engineering to improve execution discipline, make dependencies visible and enable greater team autonomy.
Improved sprint throughput through stronger governance, Agile leadership and stakeholder alignment.
Enabled more decentralised decision-making and collaborative problem-solving across analytics delivery.
Influence without authority · Delivery governance · Team enablement · Stakeholder alignment
Working across enterprise equity risk and derivatives analytics gave me deep exposure to the infrastructure behind risk reporting and capital markets data workflows.
I worked with KDB+/Q, Python, Jenkins and high-performance data environments across PnL attribution, FVM, CCAR, exotic options and position analytics.
Over time, the work expanded beyond individual analytics into platform scalability, deployment governance, cloud exploration and modernisation.
Led storage migration scaling platform capacity from approximately 300GB to 500GB of daily market and risk data.
Designed production-parallel architecture supporting zero-disruption migration of NPV swap valuation models.
Built CI/CD automation improving release reliability across UAT, QA, PPQA and production environments.
Contributed to a KDB+ to AWS proof-of-concept exploring cloud scalability and potential operational efficiencies.

Moving from Mumbai to Budapest marked the beginning of my international career.
Navigating a new country, professional environment and culture independently required me to adapt quickly, understand unfamiliar systems and build a new professional life from the ground up.
Two weeks later, I began the next major chapter of my career at Morgan Stanley.
The experience strengthened my confidence operating outside familiar environments and shaped the adaptability I continue to bring to new roles, teams and challenges.

Platform Automation & Delivery
My professional career began in platform automation and software delivery.
At DXC Technology, I worked across development and deployment workflows supporting enterprise insurance platforms, building hands-on experience in CI/CD, release automation, cloud deployment and production reliability.
I automated build and deployment workflows across Linux, Windows and AWS, helped modernise version control from SVN to Git, and developed automation around deployment, backup and database operations.
This chapter taught me to look beyond individual code changes and understand the systems, processes and controls required to move technology reliably from development into production.
Automated multi-platform build and deployment workflows, reducing deployment time from several hours to under 20 minutes.
Led migration from SVN to Git, improving collaboration, governance and version-control traceability.
Implemented AWS-based deployment and backup solutions and helped standardise CI/CD practices across Java-based applications.
Designed automation scripts improving reliability of backup, refresh and restore processes across production environments.
